Perfect for Pasta, Salads and more
Loved the modern but elegant design from the moment I saw the plates online. The 12-inch plate looks big at first but does not make a normal serving of pasta look out of place. The plates also work great for salads when that is the main course; I am sure they will work just as well for soups and stews, anything better served in a deep dish.
I wanted a total of four but misunderstood the display and packaging description. The online photo looked like the bowl came with an under plate and the packaging described a set; since I wanted four I ordered four boxes and ended up with eight pasta plates. Would have sent two boxes back if I had not torn the boxes for recycling as I unpacked them.

Beautiful bowl, perfect for special needs person
My mother made me a fan of Villeroy & Boch, and now she has Alzheimer's, which makes feeding herself difficult. This bowl makes it easer with the curved lip! Now, instead of an ugly plastic disability bowl, she can still enjoy a lovely porcelain bowl whose upwardly-curving edge makes it possible for her to scoop food onto her fork or spoon. Thank you for creating this bowl; you have given us a small way to help her keep her dignity as much as possible in the face of this horrible disease.

Keeps the Pasta in the Plate not to n the Table!
The dishes stack for easy storage when not in use. The presentation of the food served is enhanced. The plates are very versatile and when used guests inquire about who makes such an attractive service dish.
