Historic buildings in grey stone give the Scottish port city of Aberdeen, the air of a landscape made of granite. Inspired by the silver-grey granite from the quarries that once surrounded this city, ABERDEEN OUTDOOR20 adapts the typical granite look in high-quality vilbostone porcelain stoneware for outdoor use.
Authentic natural colours and matt surfaces with a slight relief effect lend the tiles a character which is at once authentic and distinctive. The down-to-earth natural stone character is ideal for terraces, balconies and garden paths, and lends areas outside restaurants, administrative or office buildings a distinctive appearance.
The 2-cm-thick outdoor tiles are available in two formats and all offer R10/A slip resistance. The design of these durable and easy-care outdoor tiles matches the 10-mm-thick porcelain stoneware, so the entire floor surface can be designed in a uniform style. Since the outdoor tiles can be laid not only firmly in a mortar bed but also loosely in a gravel and grit bed or with grout bags, they offer planners a suitable design solution for nearly any construction situation.
