Preparation time about 50 minutes
Crust:
• 200 g flour
• 100 g butter
• 3/4 tsp American baking powder
• 4 tbsp cold water
• About 20 cherry tomatoes
Filling:
• 3 eggs
• 125 g crème fraîche
• 50 g grated cheese
• 2 tbsp chopped herbs (basil, parsley)
• Salt, pepper and nutmeg
Tomato Quiche
1. Knead all of the crust ingredients together, roll out and then fit into a tart pan. Preheat oven to 180°.
2. Wash and then halve tomatoes and arrange them on top of the crust. Stir eggs, crème fraîche, grated cheese and herbs together. Season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
3. Tomaten waschen, halbieren und in die Tartform geben. Die Eimischung gleichmäßig über die Tomaten gießen. Bake in oven about 40 minutes until golden brown.
