Ingredients (serves 4):

• 1 walnut-sized piece of ginger
• 750 ml of red wine
• 6 cl of rum
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 5 cardamom pods
• 3 cloves
• 75 g of sugar
• 75 g of raisins
• 50 g peeled almonds

SWEDISH GLÖGG

Preparation:

1. Peel the ginger and slice thinly. Place it in a pot with the wine, rum and spices. Heat the mixture, without allowing it to boil. Add the raisins and almonds and serve.
