• 30 g butter plus some to grease the cup
• 55 g sugar
• 1 pinch of salt
• 1 egg (med.)
• 3 tbsp. milk
• 60 g flour (type 405)
• ½ tsp. baking powder
• 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
• ½ tsp. gingerbread spice

Christmas Cup Cakes

For: 1 cup (330 ml volume)
Preparation time: 5 minutes.
Baking time: 2.5 minutes


1. Beat butter, sugar and salt with a whisk until the mixture is soft. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until the batter is smooth.

2. Lightly grease the cup and add the batter. Set microwave to 950 watts and heat the cup cake for 2.5 minutes. Allow the cake to cool a little and then spoon out of the cup.

Tip: The cup cake can also be baked in a regular oven on the middle rack at 180° C (upper/lower heat) for 25-30 minutes.
