It’s The Feast of St. Nicholas!

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is The Feast of St. Nicholas. It is really the beginning of the season and brings most Germans back straight to their childhood.

Last year I posted about the symbolism and all the childhood memories that come back to me on this day. “If you were good, St. Nicholas would fill your boot with apples, mandarins and nuts and your paper plate with candies and cookies baked by the angels.”

I am still so attached to this Christmas tradition and am loving the new porcelains plates of Toy’s Fantasy for 2011. Every year, we keep the same “fluted paper plate look”, but update it with new themes and designs. If you have children or grandchildren, this is a nice tradition to uphold or begin. And these darling pieces soon become keepsakes for years to come and a tradition to hand down for generations.

Share in the tradition of “The Feast of St. Nicholas” with our Toy’s Fantasy plates and bowls.

Merry Christmas!
