Spotlight: Instant Centerpieces

Classic candle holders take on a fresh new look when used as centerpieces. Our Helium Vases and Hurricane Lamps are beautiful in and of themselves, but we love how they make easy yet elegant centerpieces for any occasion.

We turned to party and wedding expert Martie Duncan of MartieKnowsParties.com for easy ideas on how to transform our classic handblown-glass Helium vases into party-perfect centerpieces.  Martie created four entirely different looks using these versatile vases as inspiration.

Brides looking to save money on floral centerpieces turn to hurricane vases. A hot bridal tabletop trend is to float candles or submerge flowers in elegant glass vases. Add more candles if you like to really add ambiance. These all-white centerpieces add a chic look to weddings, anniversary celebrations or formal dinner parties, but they won’t dent your wallet!

For a sweet celebration, fill your hurricane vases with colorful candy. These pretty pink centerpieces would be perfect for your next baby shower or birthday party. Switch up the candy colors to match your baby shower or birthday party theme!

Impress your Thanksgiving guests with a rustic centerpiece. These Thanksgiving centerpieces may look expensive, but they’re made from what’s on-hand. Gather acorns, twigs and fall leaves from your yard or visit a local florist for some decorative greens.

Combine natural elements, like spray-painted bare branches, with holiday decorations or candy for a festive Christmas centerpiece. We used peppermint candies and foil-wrapped chocolate truffles, but you could substitute Christmas ornaments with equally beautiful results.
