A Large bathroom
Your at-home luxury package.

If the room is large enough, it is possible to make the bathroom into a living area in its own right. WC/bidet and wet area can be separated and the emphasis placed on the washing area and tub.
The right layout for a pleasant ambience
The washbasin often used to be in front of or even in the bedroom. This type of scheme is particularly important when renovating old buildings. The existing character remains intact and the bathroom becomes a fully-fledged room with distinctive bathroom elements. A practical washing area, consisting of one or two separate washbasins with vanity unit, requires plenty of storage space. Tall or low cabinets offer sufficient room for bathroom utensils and are also cosy. The surface finish of the furniture is decisive. Light wood combined with white is light and modern. Glossy surfaces are more elegant than matt ones and give a greater sense of space. A combination of the two is also interesting. Large-format floor tiles, perhaps with a wood structure, and lots of daylight create a restful and expansive atmosphere.

Pure harmony
The walls should be tiled only in the splash area in a colour that matches the rest of the home. One wall can finished in a contrasting colour. The bathtub is important. If it is free-standing it also functions as a piece of furniture and should therefore be positioned accordingly.
