The hotel as a work of art. An extensive living area in which art is not merely an exhibition piece but an integral part of the experience – this is the unusual concept behind the Chamber Hotel. It stands at the heart of the historical theatre district of Minneapolis, where two turn-of-the-century buildings were carefully renovated and innovatively interlinked. An architectural masterpiece. However, the really special feature of this hotel is the art that the guests encounter in the spacious interior: more than 200 original works of modern art are an integral part of the public rooms and bedrooms. In addition, the hotel’s own Burnet Gallery offers changing exhibitions showcasing the work of world-famous artists. The modern, minimalist interior design, inspired by the White-Cube-style avantgarde galleries, is much more than just a backdrop for the art: in the open interior design, all elements come together to form a great and comprehensive work of art.
