New pattern for ceramic kitchen sinks:
"White Pearl" – subtle yet expressive individuality
"Villeroy & Boch's New-Look Kitchen Sinks". This is Villeroy & Boch's slogan for the launch of "White Pearl" – the first Villeroy & Boch pattern for ceramic kitchen sinks –at "Focus Küche & Bad 2008". Having already successfully positioned itself in the market in recent years with its "perfect kitchen colour schemes", Villeroy & Boch has now taken up the theme of "Kitchen Decoration" and in so doing clearly stands out again from the competition. Tableware Division expertise was applied in the pattern's development – "White Pearl" transfers the successful tableware patterns "Grey Pearl" and "Ivoire" to kitchen sinks. What has resulted is even more individuality in the sink area, plus additional style reassurance for end consumers when designing their kitchens.
Contemporary Tone-in-Tone Pattern
"White Pearl" takes the delicate central motif of the tableware pattern and interprets it for kitchen sinks. The result is a subtle tone-in-tone pattern in the unmistakable Villeroy & Boch style which emotionally enhances the kitchen sinks. "White Pearl" plays with the contrast which exists between highly-polished and matt ceramic. A stylish surface appearance is created depending on the incidence of light.
Modern Design and Classic Ornament
In keeping with the slogan "Modern Design Meets Classic Ornament – logical function linked with aesthetical appeal" Villeroy & Boch is offering two ceramic kitchen sinks with the pattern: various models of the successful "Subway" series and also the sink as a one or two-bowl variant. As a result of the pattern, the timeless sink in particular becomes part of a new stylistic framework. "Subway" kitchen sink models 60, 60XL, 50 and 45 – each with bowls on the left or right – are available with the "White Pearl" pattern. The pattern here is positioned on the tap-hole plate, whereas the front of the sink is patterned. Both of the pattern positions lend the sink-area an extremely individual look and are thus perfect for those who also wish to effectively underline their own personal style in the kitchen.
