Edge-chip warranty

By using the highest quality raw materials during the production of Villeroy & Boch Hotel & Restaurant china we are able to ensure our products have an excellent stability and therefore Villeroy & Boch is able to provide a 5 years edge-chip warranty.

Conditions of the edge-chipping warranty

Subject to the conditions below, the Hotel & Restaurant division of Villeroy & Boch will grant on all “Fine China” hotel series a 5 years edge-chip warranty. This warranty applies to all Hotel & Restaurant “Fine China” assortments as from January 1st, 2009 and is valid for white and patterned products.

This guarantee covers dishes, saucers and plates in “Fine China” of the Hotel & Restaurant series.

Any chip due to an inappropriate or excessive use, as well as complete or partial breakage of chinaware won’t be covered by the guarantee.

Under this guarantee Villeroy and Boch will either replace the goods or issue a credit note of an equivalent value. Once returned, exchanged goods once more become the property of Villeroy and Boch.

After use the guarantee is neither extended nor renewed

The guarantee takes effect from the invoice date and is only valid on presentation of the original invoice.

If a legitimate request of warranty exists, Villeroy & Boch will refund all shipping costs for the goods returning.
