I. Bathroom and Wellness Division

 

The Bathroom and Wellness Division is divided into the two business segments of sanitary-ware ceramics/bathroom furniture and wellness/fittings. In the medium term the division is pursuing the following goals:

  • Accelerated growth in selected markets (USA, Central America, Great Britain, France, Italy, Asia and Australia)
  • Automation and flexibility in west European locations while at the same time expanding east European factories and making them technically competent
  • Optimising the supply chain process

II. Tableware Division

 

The Tableware Division comprises the business segments ceramics/accessories, glass and cutlery and hotel. Its medium-term goals are:

  • Focusing on the markets Germany, USA, Spain, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe
  • Expanding own retail trade
  • Developing new distribution channels (e-commerce)
  • Entering the Chinese market (hotel segment)
  • Expanding and optimising automated production
  • Optimising the supply chain process
  • Market leader in design and function (asymmetrical products)
  • Expanding the range of glass, cutlery, accessories and gift articles

III. Tile Division

 

The strategy of the Tile Division is devoted solely to attaining sustained profitability. The following goals have been defined with this in mind:

  • Gains in market share in selected markets (Germany, France and Great Britain)
  • Revising the range, particularly in the upper-class segment
  • Concentrating own production at two locations
  • Consistent implementation of a tight cost-cutting programme (approx. € 12 mill. p.a.)
  • Reproducing high-quality natural stone products via strategic partnerships
  • Selective sourcing to extend the product portfolio
